Tammy Williams

Mrs. Tammy Williams has dedicated her life to Christian service, education, and the ministry of strengthening others in their walk with God.

At the age of twelve, Tammy was saved after her parents returned to church, having themselves trusted Christ as teenagers. From that moment, her life has been marked by a steadfast desire to follow God’s calling. After high school, she attended Hyles-Anderson College, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Education.

Upon graduation, Tammy began serving at Hyles-Anderson as an assistant dorm supervisor. It was during this season that she met Lawrence Williams, a Marine Corps veteran who was also studying at the college. They married shortly after his graduation, and just a year later, God called them into the pastorate of Bible Baptist Church in Carbondale, Illinois. During their nine years of ministry there, their three children were born, and countless souls came to Christ.

The Lord then directed the Williams family to Hartford City, Indiana, where Tammy served as church and school secretary at Blackford Baptist Temple. Three years later, God opened the door for a greater step of faith—mission work in Ghana, West Africa. For six years, the Williams family faithfully served with Team Ghana. There, Tammy played a vital role in founding a Christian school on the mission field, teaching Kindergarten and Reading for four years. The school continues to flourish today, with a national teacher, whom Tammy trained, still faithfully teaching.

After returning to the States, the Williams family served for nine years at First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. During that time, Tammy taught the 4-year-old Kindergarten class for eight years, impacting countless young lives with her love for teaching and her heart for the Lord.

Today, Tammy and her husband serve as Missionary Evangelists, traveling to encourage pastors, churches, and missionaries around the world. Together, they have reared three children—all graduates of Hyles-Anderson College, now married, and serving God in their own ministries.

With more than 30 years of marriage and ministry experience, Tammy has walked in many roles—pastor’s wife, missionary’s wife, mother, teacher, homeschooler, and faithful servant of Christ. Her journey has been marked by faith, perseverance, and a passion for helping others. Through her life and testimony, she continues to inspire women to embrace their God-given calling, grow in grace, and serve with joy wherever the Lord leads.
