Tracy Blanton was born in Beaufort, South Carolina, to United Stated Marine Corps Major Chuck and Lenora Cofty.

Although Tracy made a salvation decision as a young child, her life and her family’s life dramatically changed when her father was converted through the influence of her mother.

After attending and graduating from a Christian high school, Tracy attended Bob Jones University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration.

She taught at several Christian schools before and after she married Art Blanton in 1991.

Blessed with four children, Tracy taught her children at their Charlotte, North Carolina, home.

As her children grew older, Tracy began work on and completed an EdD degree in elementary education at
Pensacola Christian College.

Tracy enjoys teaching children at church, running the baking business that she and her mother started in 1998, walking, reading, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
