Dr. Bob Parker
Dr. Bob Parker was born May 29th, 1960, in Beech Grove, Indiana. Upon graduating from High School he went to Indiana State University in Terre Haute Indiana to study law enforcement. It was during this time that the Holy Spirit worked on his heart and life to surrender to full time Christian ministry.
He surrendered to go to Bible college where he met his wife Janice. They were married on July 30th, 1983.
They have been in the ministry their entire married life. God has blessed them with 5 daughters of which two are married to IFB pastors and all are serving the Lord in their local churches in different capacities. They presently have 15 grandchildren, and consider their children and families their greatest testimony and legacy. They are thankful for God’s blessings on their family.
Dr. Parker has pastored, planted, restored and helped several churches as an interim pastor find pastors over the past 40 years. He preaches revivals, missions conferences and family conferences and presently pastors the Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas.
God gave Dr. Parker the desire of his heart as young man to be a law enforcement officer several years later while pastoring in Mississippi. He has worked with several law enforcement agencies as a chaplain and is a NRA instructor.
Dr. Parker is presently writing a series of Textual commentaries through the Bible entitled. “The Preacher’s Treasure Chest.” He and Janice are co-authoring a book on the home, centered around raising children in the ministry.
