Dr. B.G. Buchanan

Over the last thirty-five years, Dr. Buchanan has led Central Baptist Church to be a people dedicated to Jesus Christ. In all that time he has not wavered. Though many other men and churches have come and gone, Dr. Buchanan has abided faithful; and through his faithfulness to the truth of God’s Word, he has been used of God to mightily influence not only the state of Louisiana but the entire country. To this day there are hundreds of pastors, teachers, church staff, Sunday school workers, and faithful men and women of God who owe their ministries to the legacy of this man and this church. Only eternity will tell the measure of the life of this man we call our preacher.
