Proverbs offer some of the most personal and applicable nuggets of truth in all of the Bible. It is filled with truths which were intended for Solomon’s son, but which are relevant to many of the everyday situations we encounter. We are reminded in Proverbs that God concerns Himself, not just with the big events of life, but also those simple moments as well. It could be said that the main theme of Proverbs is wisdom, which means it is a book we need to know and understand.
